The total cost for the entire year at Southport Master’s Commission is £1,995 (approx $3,260). This cost includes all housing, breakfast and lunch on SMC days, books, courses, activities, and travelling with the program inside the UK.

This cost also includes the correspondence courses through Mattersey Hall Bible College. Upon acceptance to SMC there is a £250 ($400)  non-refundable deposit required from the individual (the deposit will be deducted from the total cost).

Tuition Breakdown

Tuition: £1,410.00 ($2,300)
Books/activities: £585.00 ($960)
Total Cost: £1,995.00* ($3,260)

* Please note that this does not include the cost of any trips abroad that may be taken throughout the year, including the Master’s Commission Europe Conference or short term missions.  Attending one short term mission trip is a graduation requirement.

Payment

We offer four payment plans for student to pay their tuition, although it is strongly recommended that each student pay off his or her tuition in full at the beginning of the year.  The SMC year is very busy and although monthly payments may be easier in the beginning, they can cause added stress throughout the year.

Plan A:  Pay the amount in full up front
Plan B:  Pay half up front and the second half in January
Plan C:  Pay 9 monthly payments (£182.77, after deposit)
Plan D:  Pay 12 monthly payments (£137.08, after deposit)

Within the first week of SMC each student will be required to sign up for one of the payment plans listed above for budgeting purposes.  If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call our office and we will do our best to answer any questions you may have.

Expenses

Each student must have adequate finances for personal expenses throughout the year. We suggest that each student have £60 (roughly $120) a month. Students from the UK and Europe will have the opportunity to pursue employment for one day out of the week, as long as it is flexible with the SMC schedule. Even with employment, we suggest the students not have any outstanding debt, seeing as keeping with the SMC schedule could make it hard to ensure that the payments are made.
